Description: Vintage Myrtle Beach, South Carolina souvenir pillow cover. This is the cover ONLY. As-is condition. Made in Japan. RN #17339. 100% spun rayon (I think this is the black faux suede look fabric). The red fabric on the back, maybe cotton or a blend. Very lightweight/thin fabric. It has 1 snap on the cover opening. It measures approx. 17"x17" from edge to edge (not including the fringe which is in poor condition). The motifs look to be painted (not sure if machine painted or hand painted). These include sand and surf, golf, surf fishing, camping. 4 ship anchors on each corner. Center design is "Myrtle Beach" at the top, a palm tree, swordfish and sailboat in the middle and "South Carolina" at the bottom. ♦♦ Condition ♦♦ In vintage condition. It does have some issues. The red backing fabric has some tiny holes. Most of the gold fringe is missing along the edges and/or is loose. Some wear to the black, few tiny places where the black has worn off. The designs look to be in overall good condition, colors still bright. NOTE: does not include pillow insert.
