Paraloid B-72 100 Grams Granules

Description: Paraloid B-72 100 Grams. Granules dissolvable in solvent. Good for label adhesive and fossil preparation. I'll generally use approximately 50 grams per quart of acetone for preserving bone specimens. It will take 3 days or so for the paraloid to dissolve in the solvent, and you may still need to stir it after that :) an ethyl methacrylate co-polymer, Paraloid B-72 is a durable and non-yellowing acrylic polymer used for consolidating wall paintings (1-5%), fragile wood (5-20%), etc. It may be used as a fixative when diluted with a solvent to secure markings on artifacts and as an adhesive (50%+) for a variety of substrates. Paraloid B-72 is soluble in acetone, toluene, and isopranol. It may initially appear cloudy when dispersed in alcohols but will dry clear. Sold in granular form.
