The product for sale in the listing has been salvaged from electronic waste recycling and undergone a process of inspection as well as cleaning and servicing to ensure proper operable function. This process includes, but is not limited to, complete disassembly and inspection of all component assemblies. Electrical components are checked for proper function, signs of water damage/misuse, ground faults between controller and motor casing, proper operating voltage/resistance range, as well as careful inspection of motor windings/brushes/connection points/wiring. Mechanical components undergo similar inspection, checking for signs of water damage/misuse, out of tolerance wear, physical damage, and more. Once the tool has cleared inspection and good working order has been established it then undergoes a thorough cleaning before being rebuilt. All assemblies are lubricated in accordance with the manufacturers recommendation. Upon final reassembly all tools are tested under load for proper function before being offered for sale. Please inspect the photos included in the listing carefully as the product, and its condition, shown in the photos is the product you will receive. The product was received by us in a like new condition with the cable prong protector still on it. The unit worked prior to the full inspection. The common fault with these and similar battery chargers are on one or more of the out put voltage MOSFET's. In essence, the charger controller chip is able to receive and send the appropriate signal to begin the charging sequence but the MOSFET series which controls the voltage to pass from the charger to the battery is faulty and does not allow for charging to commence. This unit did not have the above issue or any other faults. Unit is fully functional. (the second most common issue is with one of the transistors used to drop voltage being sent to or from the controller chip) We offer a 30 day return policy. If within 30 days you are not happy with it or decide you no longer want the item we will accept and reimburse the purchase price provided that the buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost. As well as, the tool must be sent back in the same condition as it was sold and free from user inflicted damage. We understand that extenuating circumstances outside of the buyers control may apply and will address such returns on a case by case basis.
