Description: British Model 1887 Martini Henry Bayonet measuring 23.75" overall with a blade length of 18.25". Metal shows cleaning with some scattered pitting throughout on blade. Interesting, it has wood grips, not the black checkered ones. Guard shows foreign commonwealth markings on it along with, WD arrow, 68LI, Crown over 35, over W. Opposite side of guard shows a cartouche along with faded Wilkerson Markings on ricasso, above that has a 1889 date, Pommel end is marked, 10892, excellent working press-stud, pommel, guard, and spine handle shows brown stain, probably from the wood grips that were added on.
