Using the special primer is the answer, it helps the CA to form a superior bond with 3d-printed parts and difficult-to-glue hard plastics like PVA and ABS. THIS SALE INCLUDES: One x 1 fluid ounce bottle of "Plastic Primer" with swabs and one x 1oz pin-cap bottle of Medium Viscosity PR Grade CA "Super Glue" HYPERBOND brand the CA bottle has a screw-on "Pin In Cap" design bottle-top which provides a superior seal, prevents leaks, and helps prevent clogging. (see pic) "PR GRADE" CA is a versatile alkyl formulation superglue - particularly good for bonding Plastic, Rubber, and Metal. The Medium viscosity is a good general-purpose type. It dries slower than the Thin type, and is better for bonding parts that are slightly loose-fitting and/or absorbent. In my other listings, I also offer a water-thin viscosity PR which will wick right into cracks and tight-fitting parts and dries relatively quickly (within seconds), and a thick viscosity PR which is better for gap-filling and takes much longer to dry. In order to obtain the best results with this glue:Clean the parts with rubbing alcohol - the parts must be dry, and completely free from skin oils or mold release agent. The parts must fit together tightly - little or no gap.Apply the primer to both surfaces, allow a few minutes to dry. Repeat!Apply the PR-CA adhesive sparingly, in a thin layer, then press parts together very tightly for several seconds. Allow 24 hours for a full cure to obtain the maximum bond strength before putting the item into use. NOTE: The primer and the PR Grade CA are NOT foam-safe!! Don't use them on soft foam. PR CA will work on many kinds of hard plastics, including styrene. Test first to be sure this glue is compatible. RabidModels is the official distributor for CA-Plus adhesives.
