Description: For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Never Inked, Mint Condition 2002 Pelikan M620 Berlin Special Edition Fountain Pen. This fountain pen has never seen ink and comes with Pelikan Berlin literature and original inner and outer boxes. I consider this M620 in New Old Stock, Never Inked, Mint Condition. Could there be a more exciting contrast for Pelikan to honor with a Special Edition?” The Berlin and Stockholm were the first two releases in the "city series" by Pelikan. The Berlin features a marbled green pattern on the barrel and cap, with the piston knob and section made of black resin accented by gold-plated trim. The barrel and cap are made of translucent green and black resin, allowing you to see the remaining ink in the pen. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap of this fountain pen displays the gold-plated clip and cap banding. The cap banding is stamped with, "PELIKAN SOUVERAN GERMANY". The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. This Pelikan displays a pearlescent marbling design composed of greens and blacks. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Pelikan M620 was manufactured in Germany in 2001 and has the two chick cap logo on top of the cap. This Pelikan M620 measures 5 1/4" inches in length capped and 6 1/8" inches posted. This Pelikan M620 features Gold-Plated trim to the cap and barrel all highly polished. The Piston Filler works with such ease in my tests with water. The piston filler works flawlessly and operates smoothly. The NIB is an 18C - 750 two-tone type with a medium point. The actual fountain pen tipping/iridium measures .82mm when measured using digital calipers. This pen was never inked nor did I ink it only to keep it in New Old Stock condition for the new collector. Pelikan has honored the European metropolis of Berlin with a Special Edition Fountain pen. The vibrant green design of the new "Berlin" series references the fact that Berlin is the greenest city in Europe, with a quarter of its surface made up of forests and lakes.
