Description: Up for your consideration is a Royal Copenhagen (of Denmark) porcelain vase with a hand painted design of a branch of a blackberry bush. The blackberries, white blossom, and green leaves are shown in considerable detail. The body of the vase has a graduated blue, with a darker section toward the top end and a lighter section at the base. The vase stands 5 1/2 inches tall, measures 1 5/8 inches across the base, and weighs 5 5/8 ounces. The bottom is marked: Royal - crown symbol - Copenhagen (with a line under the P, dating this vase to 1964) - Denmark - 3 wavy blue lines - SR - 288 - 43 A. There is an impressed mark of 43 A as well. The vase is in excellent, like-new condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are no signs of wear or use. Please see all the photos.
